The Betty & Beau Wedding Show featuring The Space Heartes
Absolute Theatre Company at Blue Ridge Performing Arts Center will open their Reunion Season July 30 at 7:30 pm with "The Betty & Beau Wedding Show featuring The Space Heaters" a map cap romp of a 1933 wedding at the Skyland Hotel between Betty Atkins from Hendersonville and Beau Gittlemen from New York City. This wedding show will feature the jazz swing band The Space Heater who will help round out the wedding with a swing dance reception topped off with wedding cake.
The audience will be treated to a wedding like no other with an old boyfriend, a little moonshine, a spy, lost Groom, fun music and comedy for the whole family. It’s like going to a wedding and not having to buy the gift! This show will feature comedy and a few romantic tears all wrap up in the concert sounds of The Space Heaters. Like two shows in one, a concert and a comedy.
