Smoove’s breakout role on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” as Leon has firmly planted him as one of the best comedic actors today.

His first big feature film, where he narrated and starred in the cult classic “Pootie Tang.” Smoove followed up with a role in “Mr. Deeds.”

After a season as a cast member on the sketch comedy program “Cedric the Entertainer Presents,” Smoove landed a writing position on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” where he won 2007 Writers Guild award for “Best Comedy/Variety Series” for his work.

Smoove has been featured on “Tough Crowd,” “Jamie Foxx Presents: Laffapalooza,” and several “Saturday Night Live” and “Late Night with Conan O’ Brien,” sketches. He was a recurring character on “Everybody Hates Chris” and became a member on the sitcom “Til Death.”

On the big screen, he appeared in “Date Night” and “Hall Pass.” His most recent film projects are “The Sitter”, “We Bought a Zoo” and “The Dictator.”
