Steve Rannazzisi | 10:30 PM
"Nobody wants to hang around a smart-ass, Stephen."
That's what a Catholic schoolteacher told Stephen Rannazzisi growing up in Long Island New York. Stephen went on to prove her wrong by "hanging out" or "pissing off" many different celebrities on this season of PUNK'D.
Stephen grew up on Long Island, New York and graduated from a SUNY college with a degree in Theater. After graduation, he left Long Island to pursue the only career he was suited for--entertaining. Upon his arrival in the big city, Stephen got a job as a doorman at the world-famous Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard. It was there that he honed his skills amongst some of the most prolific comics in the business, such as Eddie Griffin, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Dice Clay. And after winning over some of the toughest crowds in show business, Stephen would check id's at the door, answer phones in the office, and clean up vomit in the men's room. He also honed his craft of character acting at The Groundlings School and theater. All the hard work has started to pay off as the Hollywood industry has begun to take notice. Stephen was signed by top-level management and soon received his big break appearing as a cast member on MTV's PUNK'D.
"Great job!" said Ashton. "You really nailed it!!"
And, with the respect of his peers and an undying commitment to his craft, the future looks very bright for this talented young performer. |
Aron Kader | 10:45 PM
Aron would like to thank his Palestinian father and Mormon mother for giving him so many reasons to be a comedian. Raised in the Washington D.C. area Aron (or Haroun) moved away to Hollywood at nineteen years old to pursue comedy and acting.
After quickly rising up the ranks in the stand-up circuits he became known as an up and comer. Aron spent a year in the legendary sketch theatre "The Groundlings" Sunday company, and now performs regularly in Hollywood at his home club, "The Comedy Store."
He has been seen on Comedy Central’s "Premium Blend," the Television cop drama, "The Shield," and has been featured in the The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek magazine, and many other national publications.
He filmed a TV pilot for NBC called "Beverly Hills SUV," was a stand out at the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and received stellar reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Aron is a founding member of "The Axis Of Evil Comedy Tour," the world renound stand up comedy trio that toured world wide from 2003-2007. When they appeared on American national television in 2006 on Comedy Central, it was the first time that middle-eastern comedians appeared together with that theme, starting a movement in the community to fight stereotypes using humor.
In 2008 Aron Kader became the first person to teach a comedy class in the Middle East. He trained college students in Amman Jordan in conjunction with the first ever comedy festival in the region, "The Amman Comedy Festival." The festival was produced by the city of Amman along with co-producer Dean Obeidallah.

Chris D'Elia | 11:00 PM
Chris was 16 the first time he performed stand-up comedy. He would act up in church, so the pastor told him he could do some time on stage afterwards if he behaved himself. Well he didn't behave, but was still allowed to get on stage in front of everyone.
Although his church performance was a success, it would be years later that D'Elia actually started a career in stand-up comedy. East coast born, West coast raised, Chris found himself in Los Angeles, on stage anywhere he could get up-- from local coffee shops to various hole-in-the-wall dive bars. Performing every night of the week, he quickly became a regular at all the clubs in Hollywood. Chris's silly, physical humor is what sets him apart from other comedians. Chris explains, "I never really feel like just standing there and telling jokes. I wanna move around. In fact, it's hard for me to write a joke where I don't end up on the ground for some reason. Hey... at least that way I know no comics will steal my shit. Too many bruises."
His comedy has an emphasis on characters, maybe because of his background in acting. Chris has guest starred on such shows as "Monk" and "Boston Legal", among others.
In 2008 Chris toured the United States with fellow comedian JoKoy. In 2009 you can catch Chris's act on Showtime's new upcoming series "Live Nude Comedy".

Rick Ingraham | 11:15 PM
Started stand-up comedy at Stanford and Sons Comedy Club in Kansas City (little Hollywood). After two years in the fast-paced, highly competetive Kansas City comedy scene, I moved to L.A. and started doing comedy full time. I’ve been a regular at the Hollywood Comedy Store since 2003, performing 5 nights a week. I also perform at the "Comedy and Magic Club" in Hermosa beach occasionally, and I’ve performed at both "Laugh Factories" (L.A. & N.Y.), a number of "Improv" Comedy Clubs (L.A., Miami, Ontario, Irvine, Brea, San Jose, Tampa Bay), the Comedy Store in La Jolla (San Diego), Mandalay Bay Casino (Las Vegas), and tons of other comedy clubs around the country (Looney Bins, Jokers, Comedy House, Wiley’s). I have opened on the road touring with national headliners Andrew "Dice" Clay and Pauly Shore. I’ve seen some great places with "Dice" like Miami, New York, and Vegas... livin’ the dream... And I’ve seen the worst parts of America with Pauly, like Dayton, Wichita, and Brownsville... livin the Weasel nightmare... The unbelievable stories can be read in my soon to be written Autobiography "On My Way Up, On Their Way Down: Rising From the Ashes of Hollywood Burnouts".

Barry Diamond | 11:30 PM
Barry Diamond is somewhat of an enigma. He's been a professional stand-up comedian for almost 300 years and has appeared in many popular television shows, movies and traveling carnivals.
Diamond's credits are impressive. He has appeared in "Friends", "Seinfield", "Politically Incorrect", "Curb Your Enthusiasm” and every movie with the word “party” in it.
Diamond is an absolute hit on stage; he's a cut above the rest, with a high-calibre repertoire, which sees him undergo numerous personality changes with great effect. He also has a powerful singing voice and opens and closes his performance with two superb numbers. Then he dances. He dances the dance that dazzled the whirling dervishes of Persia in the 18th century. He dances himself and the audience into a frenzy until he is shot in the neck with a tranquilizer dart.
His act is difficult to describe, he doesn't tell one-liners, instead he prefers to weave different stories into his act. He introduces his various characters early in the show; they then appear throughout the act, often in the same sentence. The characters aren't impersonations of famous people, instead they're impersonations of everyday people, complete with hand gesturing and facial expressions. It's very unique, very wild and very funny. Then…the show starts.
It begins quite innocently with a song, then some funny stuff followed by a gunshot and a fire. In spite of the insurance risks audience are still mesmerized by the talent and versatility this performer displays when he is confident of being paid at the shows conclusion.
Mr. Diamond is no doubt a unique performer. There is never any gratuitous profanity or graphic sexual content. Everything is clever and mostly spontaneous and refreshingly natural and unforced along with several brief episodes of total nudity.
Mr. Diamond is an American first, a comedian second and a Jew third. He has traveled around the world doing shows to support our American soldiers and not make them think they have been sent to fight a senseless and needless war ordered by a handfull of sociopaths.
As a comedian he has had the privilege of traveling around the world making people laugh on stage, offstage in hospitals, bars, comedy clubs, torture chambers (Guantanamo Bay Improv) Private parties and secret government events.
Finally and not necessarily least importantly, as a Jew Mr. Diamond has supported and even gone so far as to contribute his time and energy to further any causes consistent with the survival of the state of Israel and the peaceful resolution of all Israeli and Arab grievances. On a few occasions, after an appropriate amount of money had been exchanged Mr. Diamond has also performed comedy shows in support of Hamas and Al Qaida and Al Jazeera and also Al Franken.

Sam Tripoli | 11:45 PM
Practitioner of the Deadly Art of Comedy. Sam Tripoli views comedy as a calling rather a profession. It's a passion that he's been preaching to audiences at comedy clubs across the country and on television, including Comedy Central's Premium Blend, (receiving only one of two standing ovations in the history of the show), a frolicsome turn as a male escort for E! Entertainment's Party @ the Palms, The Late Late Show on CBS, Comic Unleashed and as a co-host of Spike TV's Wide World of Spike, a comedy-action cult classic. On stage he's a force of nature, pacing the stage like a cyclone of funny as he questions authority and the conventions of our society one moment, then earnestly expresses his affinity for the bizarre the next. His comedy has no limits , its whatever he's thinking about, and that's usually what everyone else is thinking about, even though sometimes we don't like to admit to it. I like to think of myself as the little voice in everyone's head, except I have a microphone and I'm funnier,Sam says.

Brian Holtzman | 12:00 AM (Sun Nov. 08)
Holtzman tells it like it is and if someone from the audience is brave enough to disagree, they're greeted with an outpouring of unbridled rage.I berate hecklers without mercy, Holtzman confesses. It has become a central part of his act, along with his unique perspective on the nonsense of everyday life. His growing following of fans have labeled him as absolutely brilliant and a true original.
