PJ Stansbury | 9:00 PM
P.J. Stansbury was born John Doe in Quakertown, Pennsylvania on August 21st. 1970, he was adopted two months later by Paul and Jean Stansbury of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. When he was six years old he and his parents moved to Trenton, New Jersey. P.J. says he has always loved making people laugh and has always been a clown of sorts and has always wanted to be a stand-up comic. After graduating from college in 1993 he spent most of his twenties delivering pizzas, drinking beer, ruining relationships and getting arrested. When he got tired of doing nothing he decided to pursue comedy and moved to Los Angeles in 2002, and when he found himself at The Comedy Store he knew he had found his home away from home. In 2002 he began performing in open mics all over LA and eventually got a job as a doorman at The Comedy Store and two years later was made a regular by club owner Mitzi Shore. P.J.'s rough around the edges opinionated style of comedy is not for the faint hearted but audiences can't seem to look away and always get a good laugh and find themselves leaving with a new found love for the opinions of this rough around the edges in your face bad boy of comedy. |

Argus Hamilton | 9:15 PM
Who is Argus Hamilton, and why is everybody quoting him?
Meet the funniest topical comedian in America, the man Robin Williams once called "the Will Rogers of the Baby Boom." Argus Hamilton's daily column of jokes on the news, now carried in over 100 newspapers across the United States, is also read and heard by millions on the Internet and on radio stations across the country.
Argus James Hamilton III is the son, grandson and great-grandson of Methodist ministers in the South. A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma and now based in Los Angeles, Argus brings an unusual perspective to the news from Washington and around the country. "I'm an English Monarchist and a Southern secessionist," Argus says. "Let's see Rush Limbaugh get to the right of that."
Argus Hamilton performs at corporate, political and charity events around the country. When he's in Los Angeles, he can be seen working out the latest material nightly at The Comedy Store in Hollywood.
Argus is regularly quoted by daily newspapers including The San Francisco Chronicle and the Los Angeles Times, by weekly business papers including the Orange County Business Journal, by Time magazine and by radio personalities including Paul Harvey.
Argus was honored by Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry as the official comedian of the Oklahoma Centennial and appeared with the governor in the 2007 Tournament of Roses Parade.
You can read Argus Hamilton's outrageously funny humor column on the Internet six days a week -- yes, six days a week ("Unbelievable," says Yahoo.com)

Aron Kader | 9:30 PM
Aron would like to thank his Palestinian father and Mormon mother for giving him so many reasons to be a comedian. Raised in the Washington D.C. area Aron (or Haroun) moved away to Hollywood at nineteen years old to pursue comedy and acting.
After quickly rising up the ranks in the stand-up circuits he became known as an up and comer. Aron spent a year in the legendary sketch theatre "The Groundlings" Sunday company, and now performs regularly in Hollywood at his home club, "The Comedy Store."

He trained college students in Amman Jordan in conjunction with the first ever comedy festival in the region, "The Amman Comedy Festival." The festival was produced by the city of Amman along with co-producer Dean Obeidallah.

Bob Oschack | 9:45 PM
Bob Oschack came to Los Angeles by way of Austin, Texas, where he won first place in the prestigious Austin Comedy Festival in 1994--three months after his first time onstage. Too "green" to become a regular at any of the Los Angeles comedy clubs, Bob got a job working the ticket booth at The Comedy Store while honing his act in venues across the city ranging from juice bars to teen correctional facilities. In 1999, Bob caught the eye of comedian Bob Saget, who then introduced him on an episode of "Oprah" about comedians and their protégés. Since then Bob has also performed stand-up on "The Martin Short Show," "Late Friday," Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and finally, his own half hour Comedy Central special in March of 2004.
While performing stand-up, Bob also pursued a TV writing career, which went from writing quiz questions for Mexican game shows to two Sports Emmy nominations for his work on "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" to his current job as a writer and on-air correspondent on Dennis Miller's CNBC talk show.
A veteran of the Montreal, Chicago and Aspen Comedy Festivals, Bob now performs regularly at The Comedy Store.

Bobby Lee | 10:00 PM
Bobby Lee, a native of San Diego, was expected to follow in his father’s footsteps running the family clothing store. But after stints in a local rock band and at the local community college, he was spotted by Frank Burns, the legendary manager of La Jolla’s Comedy Store, and the rest, as they say, is history. Lee rapidly became an in-demand stand-up comic with his unique Korean American perspective and charismatic on-stage personality.
In 1995, comedian Pauly Shore spotted Lee on stage and asked him to open his act in Las Vegas. Lee subsequently met Paulie’s mother, the celebrated owner of the Comedy Store, Mitzi Shore. He became a regular at the club and went on the road with comic Carlos Mencia.
Since joining MADtv in 1999, Lee has become a fan-favorite, known for his unique brand of pain-inducing, physical humor. He has created such memorable original characters as the comically confused film critic “Johnny Gan,” the world’s worst interpreter “Bae Sung;” and hapless warrior the Blind kung Fu Master.” And audiences have loved his takes on such real-world figures as Connie Chung and North Korean President Kim Jong Il.
Lee’s film credits include “Hardbreakers,” “Kickin’ It Old Skool,” “Killer Pad” and “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle.” On television Lee has appeared in “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Mind of Mencia,” and has performed stand-up on "Late Friday," "Premium Blend" and “The Tonight Show.” He was also the host of this year’s Asian Excellence Awards.

Ari Shaffir | 11:00 PM
Amongst other work, Ari Shaffir is probably most well known for a series of comedy works entitled The Amazing Racist (the title is a play on that of reality television show The Amazing Race). In these shorts the Amazing Racist is seen acting in a manner which is overtly and ironically racist. Shaffir filmed many of his offensive encounters for the DVD, National Lampoon’s Lost Reality. They were then ripped to the internet by hundreds of different nerds and then seen by millions of people. Watching the videos makes many people laugh and many people very angry. Ari gets death threats at least once a week and loves them all. If you haven’t seen the videos, Google him. And please don’t watch them at work because you’ll get fired. Ari has also been featured on the TBS show Minding the Store, ESPN Classic’s Cheap Seats, The Latino Laugh Festival on SiTV, has made a few appearances on the Opie and Anthony radio show (including the greatest day of radio of all time – The Baby Bird), and you probably have seen him on one of the many national commercials he has done over the years. Ari’s first love is standup, though, and he is a regular at all the major clubs in Los Angeles. For the last few years he has been touring nationally with Joe Rogan. Ari tends to describe his comedy as a puppet show, but way filthier and without the puppets. Ari wrote this biography, so every time it says “Ari did this” or “Ari did that” it’s really Ari writing it about himself. Ari feels like a tool for having done that. Please don’t come to the show if you’re easily offended or if you don’t like hearing Jews tell awful stories about sexual misconduct or if you hate fun. Everyone else, please do come.

Jay Davis first moved to Los Angeles to pursue film acting, and managed to book a few national commercials, a bad B movie, the lead in a Disney after-school special and a couple of featured roles on television. Since the closing of the Irish Pub, Jay has taken his producing skills to the world famous Laugh Factory on the Sunset Strip, where he produces, hosts and performs his comedy every week for the "Life of the Party" show (Laugh Factor Tuesdays, 10pm to 12:30am).
