Share This Event VHS or Beta with The Hollywood Kills & Mother / Father
When Louisville, Kentucky natives VHS OR BETA released their Astralwerks debut Night On Fire in 2004 they were quickly heralded as one of rock’s “Best New Bands” by Blender, and “Artist To Watch” by Rolling Stone, achieved break out sales internationally and topped the CMJ College charts. VHS OR BETA’s famously taut instrumental interplay proved even more explosive after the band completed numerous tours supporting the likes of The Faint, Scissor Sisters, and Doves, as well as triumphant festival dates spanning Lollapalooza to Reading to Belgium’s Pukkelpop.

Share This Event JJ Grey & Mofro with Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue
Like Florida’s state flower, the orange blossom, musician JJ Grey’s songs are fascinating, beautiful, and complex. Both are products of the same ground: the rich, fertile and ancient soil of the Sunshine State. Born and raised just outside of Jacksonville, Florida, Grey comes from a long tradition of Southern musical storytellers and, like the best of the great Southern writers, he fills his songs with details that are at once vivid and personal, political and universal. His multi-textured music overflows with dynamic rhythms and thought-provoking lyrics. From raw funk to deep soul, blues and rock, JJ and his band Mofro deliver devastating live and recorded performances.

Share This Event Theory Of A Deadman with Pop Evil
Theory of a Deadman had a simple but daunting goal for its third album: to make the greatest record possible. "I always try to remind the guys and myself that there are 20 bands lined up behind us just waiting for a chance to take our place," says frontman Tyler Connolly. "So that means we had to go in there and make a great record." With Scars & Souvenirs, the Vancouver trio has hit its mark.

Share This Event Reel Big Fish with Streetlight Manifesto & Tip the Van
OC'S original skanking pranksters Reel Big Fish have finished mixing and mastering the tracks that will make up their new album, a 10 song serving of high-energy covers which they've dubbed, Fame, Fortune and Fornication. The release is set to include the band's signature ska take on such classics as Poison's "Talk Dirty To Me", Tom Petty's "I Won't Back Down", John Mellencamp's "Authority Song", and The Eagles "The Long Run." For good measure, Reel Big Fish pay tribute to their early ska/reggae forefather's with versions of Desmond Dekker's "Keep A Cool Head" and Toots and The Maytals "Monkey Man."
