Born on March 25, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, Michael Stanley Gee a Rocky River High School student, typical of most teen boys in a 'garage band': "It was just something that was fun to do," Michael Stanley recalled, in a 1981 'TEEN Magazine interview, "It was a good way to pick up some quick money and meet some girls." In 1965, the proverbial 'first' band was one called the 'Scepters'. Things became serious, when Michael joined the 'Tree Stumps', and a single was released, "Listen To Love". By 1969, Michael a student at Hiram College, working on his Bachelor of Arts degree, the Tree Stumps had become 'Silk', a locally-popular folk group produced an LP, "Smooth As Raw Silk"... After college, Michael Stanley Gee continued pursuing music while moving up in the ranks of his 'day job' at Disc Records. New York record producer, Bill Szymczyk, was in the audience that night. Michael had continued working his 'day job' at Disc Records, having by then become the Regional Manager, in charge of stores in 12 states.

Johnny Winter
Friday Apr 27, 2012 9:00 PM
Johnny Winter has been a guitar hero without equal. Signing to Columbia records in 1969 called largest solo artist deal of it’s time, Johnny immediately laid out the blueprint for his fresh take on classic blues a prime combination for the legions of fans just discovering the blues via the likes of Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. Constantly shifting between simple country blues in the vein of Robert Johnson, to all-out electric slide guitar blues-rock, – Johnny has always been one of the most respected singers and guitar players in rock and the clear link between British blues-rock and American Southern rock (a la the Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd.) Throughout the ’70s and ’80s, Johnny was the unofficial torch-bearer for the blues, championing and aiding the careers of his idols like Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker.

30 year reunion- All original members
In February of 1974, Richard played his first date with the newly christened Stairway at Otto-Sight (in the Flats). Within a few months, Kolas dropped out of the band and the unit was down to a comfortable quintet. Stairway, however, was becoming a favorite at dance clubs and high schools. Richard gradually began fronting the band and singing lead vocals with more regularity. It was obvious that this guitar-oriented rock outfit was better served with Richard up front.

Pat Travers Band w/ Special Guest TBA
Saturday May 5, 2012 9:00 PM
It's early 1979, and the Pat Travers Band have just been introduced and subsequently recorded for what would become one of the slickest and hottest guitar-rock albums ever committed to vinyl. 'Live! Go for What You Know"'was a huge success on both sides of the pond, acclaimed by their musical peers, fans, and music critics alike. It was high-energy. It was electric. It was lightning in a bottle. The album, much like the Canadian musician himself, remains an influence for a whole generation of guitar slingers.
The band in question - Pat Travers, guitarist Pat Thrall, drummer Tommy Aldridge and bass player Peter “Mars” Cowling - were unarguably one of the most talented rock quartets ever to perform. They were also responsible for a pair of bona fide studio classics - their 1978 guitar rock debut 'Heat in the Street', and 1980's more musically diverse and critically acclaimed 'Crash and Burn'. 'Go for What You Know' was the musical meat in that sonic sandwich.
