Biography:
I love doing comedy. You know how some people are athletes and some people are artists, I'm neither of those things and that doesn't leave me with many options. I thoroughly enjoy the experience of making people laugh. I've enjoyed it since my first 'stand-up' experience in Mrs. Carlson's 7th grade reading class at Kesling Jr. High School in La Porte Indiana. It was a book report on Harry Houdini. Everyone laughed. I was hooked.

Eventually, I graduated from Jr. High School and moved out of La Porte, got married, had some children and settled into a regular nine to five job like you're supposed to do. The day job made me happy in that it provided me with money which, where I come from, is a useful thing to have. Comedy was a part-time venture for me and I traveled within the confines of the midwest doing shows at comedy clubs, churches and Lion's Club meetings. (NOTE: Lion's Club meetings are no longer the comedy hot-bed that they were in the early 90's)

When the number of calls for shows reached a point where I couldn't do all of them and keep my job, I had to make a decision. I chose the road less traveled. I chose to be a full time comedian and listened to the tiny voice inside me that kept repeating, "Are you out of your mind?"

My primary goal on stage is to be flat-out funny. I love to hear people tell me their sides ache and their cheeks hurt. When the show is over, I want the audience to be tired! I frequently achieve this goal.

It's hard for me to believe that I'm making a living doing something that's so much fun for me. I pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. ...seriously, I pinch myself. I sometimes do it while on stage. It's the only way I can really be sure... more >>>

Biography:
Born in Lexington, KY, Rik was instilled with down home values and the type of politeness and courtesy you get used to in a small town. After graduating High School, Rik earned a bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Bethany College in West Virginia.

He started his comedy career in Columbus, OH while working a day job at Simon & Schuster Publishing. Early comedy experiences included landing a spot with the nation’s top touring improvisation comedy troupe “Midwest Comedy Tool & Die.”

Beginning in 1997, Rik started headlining at America’s top comedy clubs. Nearly ten years later Rik has become a favorite at The Improv, The Punchline, Funny Bone, The Stardome, Zanies – you name it! It was this background that led to his current career of corporate entertaining.

Rik moved to Nashville in 1998 and turned up the heat on his career. He quickly appeared in videos on Great American Country. He began regular appearances on syndicated morning shows. His dedication to “clean” comedy earned him an episode of the Emmy award winning “Bananas Family Comedy” show. Shortly after that he was tapped to expand his Barney Fife Impression on “Comedy at Large.”

Rik enjoys spending time with his wife and their new baby boy. Watch for his upcoming documentary “Daddy’s First Year” – a humorous look at the preparation a father-to-be makes before and the adjustments that follow childbirth. He also enjoys teaching comedy classes at his home club “Zanies” in Nashville, TN. more >>>

Biography:
Derrick has been doing comedy for as long as he can remember. Unfortunately, since he has Alzheimer's, that might not be very long. Hey! who's counting, math major?. There are a lot of funny comics; there are a lot of clean comics. Hard to find a truly funny clean comic. Derrick seems to be making it his mission to change that. Being able to do the same routine at a comedy club on Saturday night and a church function Sunday is a pretty cool, but rare thing. Because of an injury, Derrick is unable to use his left arm. "Lefty" as he calls his arm, (don't ask), finds his ways in to a lot of Derrick's material. His unique, often inspirational, form of comedy will leave you with both laugh lines, AND a good perspective on life...OK, and like 10-20 less dollars in your wallet. Thirty-five if you buy the t-shirt. Word. more >>>
