The perfect laid back beer drinking dance-if-you-want-to-or-just-head-bop Friday night out.

"The San Fransisco-based foursome isn't playing on irony, that old ecstacy haze or overblown self-importance. Instead, Tussle drawls out unrelentingly dance-worthy rhythm-and-bass anthems peppered by wierd, Cluster-like atmospheric gems. And all of this using the mere talents of two drummers (Warren Huegel and Jonathan Holland), a bassist (Tomo Yasuda) and a knob-twiddler (Nathan Burazer). Add the iconic percussion additions of Liquid Liquid's Las Principata and Dennis Young to the closing track, "Pow," and the album rounds out to a colorful ball of dance-pop made to enjoy, not to impress.  Atmospheric improv thats jazzy without quite being jazz. Birminghamians Brian T. Murphy, Clint Wells, Shane Westerhold, and Shawn Avery have taken their skilled musicianship and eccentric personalities and thrown them together for the joy of all. These guys play well, and more importantly, play well together. For dancing, head bobbing, beer drinking, or whathaveyou, they come through with flying colors.
