You may...correction...you WILL remember The Death Set and Team Robespierre if you were at Bottletree this Summer for the F*** Yeah Fest! Australia to Baltimore transplants THE DEATH SET are Devo for 21st attention spans and TEAM ROBESPIERRE is one of the best dance-punk bands out there!
Also playing this show is Ninjasonik, Totally Michael and Cerebral Ballzy.
Please, please DON'T COME TO THIS SHOW if you're not into dancing, having fun. It would be a waste of your time and money and you would DEFINITELY have fun.

TEAM ROBESPIERRE | 8:00 PM
 Team Robespierre, are quickly becoming one of the most hyped bands in Brooklyn and fortunately for us they had a open date on their way out of Austin! This electro-punk-dance band have played with the likes of Dan Deacon, Matt & Kim, Crystal Castles and even have a couple of opening slots with Man Man at SXSW this year! They can’t really sing, despite the 3-or-4-way dividing of vocal duties, and their variety of keyboard-backed punk rock is admittedly pretty basic, BUT they pour enough energy into their performances to blast straight past any such obstacles. Their live show has been described as "mind-blowing"! Other aspiring bands should take note: chant/scream your words with enough fervor and no one will care if they’re in key (a friend, struggling to describe the obvious appeal at a prior show came up with “punk cheerleaders”). Of course, crowd surfing while singing probably can’t steer you wrong either. Think tough beats melodic breakdowns and hot grease… actually try electro-gangsta-punk. Bring a 40 and shorty to bump and grind, trip the light fandango and perhaps a two-step will be your fate to their hyphy meets hardcore scream-alongs.

 Spazzy lo-fi cross genre punk....Australia to Baltimore transplants The Death Set are a faster, poppier, punker and more straight forward Devo for 21st century attention spans. A mini riot wielding punky guitar smashing, panicky electro squawking, tinny drum machines and samples from old anti-drug videos -- then they smash seven shades of shit out of them against homemade mics, drench the product in sweat, saliva and sarcastic exuberance, and allow the results to stew in their own garishly vivacious pop expressionism. The DeathSet are loud, abrasive and sickly fun, Black Flag for a new generation. It’ll make you jump up and down and pound your head against a wall!
