In September of 2009 Grandma Lee performed in the finals of "Americas Got Talent". She won the hearts of millions of Americans and is greeted by loving fans everywhere she goes. She won first place in the U.S. World Showcase comedy division at the MGM Grand Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas in October 2003. In January 2004 she auditioned and was selected as a finalist on NBC's "Last Comic Standing". Although not selected to advance, she was one of only three comics asked to perform in guest appearances during the show's season finale. She's no stranger to competition. She was also a finalist for the Aspen Comedy Festival in both Charlotte and Atlanta. She's one of Jenny Jones' Comedy Divas and has attended Judy Carter's last workshop in Palm Springs,CA.
