Wick-It is a man about town, an artist on the rise. In the eight years since Wick-It began rocking the ones and twos, he's developed quite a following among the heads of Nashville's hip-hop underground. Wick-It is that rare breed of hip-hopper, a humble kid with an incredible sense of humor who makes some extremely affable art for good-time get-togethers. Whether it's the Ennio Moricone-meets-Cerrone Italo-electro of "Warp Zone," the self-deprecating hair-metal salute of "Glam Rock Baby" or one of his stellar mash-ups, Wick-It possesses a goofy charm that is best explained by the title of his latest album: Serious Fun. It's an easygoing vibe and devotion to the fundamental principles of the party that keep his dance floors full and his fans foaming at the mouth. Wick-It remembers what most in his field forget—it's not about flossin', it's about fun. more >>>

Paradise Daze is a three-piece band based out of Nashville, TN. consisting of Matt Daughtry- vox/gtr, Chris Ross- Drums/BGVs and Donnie Green- Bass. Singer Matt Daughtry and drummer Chris Ross have been writing and playing music together since around 1997. They went through many different line-ups and genres of music playing everything from hard-core metal to punk and ska. It wasn't until around 2002- 2003 that they really started writing and crafting their own sound. The band From Down Here with Daughtry, Ross and former bassist Kyle Logan were playing the local Nashville scene, and had even recorded a 5 song demo with local engineer TJ King at his home studio, which was later redone in MTSUs world renowned studios. The band stuck it out for about 2 years but conflict of interest got the best of everyone. After a short hiatus drummer Chris Ross and singer Matt Daughtry got in contact with an old high school buddy who played bass by the name of Donnie Green. It did not take long for the band to realize Donnie was the right guy for the job. The band decided a new name was in order, a few names were thrown around but Paradise Daze stuck out to everyone. Since then the band has recorded its first full length CD titled "Unity is Free" in Springfield, TN at ESP studios with engineer Brandon Cole. The band has been gigging every weekend including a spot at every Vanderbilt Football Game at home for the 2006 season, which was landed by producer Tom Woodard with Earth Rock Entertainment. The band has been talking with Tom Woodard and producer Ray Barnett (produced Billy Deans last 2 albums), also of Earth Rock Entertainment. The band hopes to go on their first tour in the spring and summer of 2007. Paradise Daze has their mind open to all kinds of music, their set list is guaranteed to make you dance. Paradise Daze plays mixture of covers and originals. Covers include a wide range of artist including Sublime, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Petty, 311, Incubus and Bob Marley. Their original material definitely favors all of the artists above with an Alternative Reggae sound. All of the songs are positive and convey messages of peace and happiness unity and freedom. more >>>

Tired of the stagnant sounds bleeding from the radio waves of modern day, three individuals made the decision to quit complaining and act. In March of 2006, The Running set out on a journey to cross the metaphorical borders of the music industry and swore to set no boundaries on their creativity in order to do so.

Since it’s inception, The Running has been constantly gigging and virally advertising, causing an outbreak of demand for their contagious groove. With 150+ shows under their belt in over 20 different cities and towns including New York, Atlanta, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and their hometown of Nashville, TN, they show no signs of slowing down. From backyard parties to nationally known venues, who knows where these guys find the time to consistently promote each show online and on the street, but their hard work is evident, as there is always a thirsty crowd at any shindig they play.

Countless attempts have been made to capture the essence of The Running’s sound in a few, cleverly arranged words; soulful island grunge, neo-surfer jam rock, reggae-rock, blues-rock, bluesy reggae rock, to name a few. Although these terms can accurately describe individual songs by The Running, none of them can quite sum up their vibe as a whole. But rather than try to label something as unique as this fresh new band, why not leave all preconceived notions of what the word genre means and just open your ears? Catch up to The Running. more >>>
