 Platinum Rose was formed by Charlie Wayne Morrill formerly Bulletboys, Hawk, King Kobra KEEL & WAYNE and Ironhorse. What you are seeing now is the 2nd version of P.R. It features an all new lineup of members with a strong rock background. Thru mutual friends and hairstylist Kimberly Anton, Charlie met and decided to add another up and coming artist James Holland as another guitar player to make P.R. even heavier than before. James comes from a long line of guitarist and is also a hardcore 80s style rocker with a L.A. image. Seeking a bass player a phone call was made to the guitar center just to get a fill in on bass for a saturday practice. Over hearing the phone call and swiping the number Charlie was introduced to Val West. Val came in and really impressed the band with his fire and energy. Val is also from Cali and has played in bands that has opened for the Bulletboys, Black Label Society, Slashs snakepit, DeeDee Ramone, La Guns Faster Pussycat and many others. Long time friend of Charlies Jason Elkins known as JROCK was contacted to come in on drums. Jason has a huge TN rock history coming from Overture and many other bands. He has toured opening for Warrant, Ratt, Saigon Kick and the Bulletboys. Jason is a machine behind the drums. He is a pro player with pro stage presence and understands what it takes to push a band. This year has alot to offer for these rockers. Not only will there be a new cd in the works with a full U.S. tour. Also Charlies band HAWK (featuring Scott Travis Racer X and judas Priest. Lonnie Vencent, Bulletboys, Doug Marks, Metal Method guitar lessons) is having there 1985 album rereleased by FNA. With that P.R. will be doing shows also known as HAWK to help support it. Expect to see this band at all of the big rock festivals such as rocklahoma, texas festival, ETC....This could be a mind blowing year and the band hopes all of you are apart of it. You totally dont want to miss this band live. Its raw, fast, in your face, cock rock attitude
