VLADA | 6:00 PM
‘All About You’ has been a labour of love for Vlada, the Swiss soul singer, songwriter and pianist, as well as a rollercoaster-ride with many dreams coming true along the way. More than five years in the making and completed without the backing of a major record label, Vlada’s debut album features an astonishing pedigree of world class performers, such as drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, bassist Abraham Laboriel, and guitarist Paul Jackson Jr., who usually perform with Sting, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder or Whitney Houston. And that’s before factoring in ten-times Grammy Award-winning vocal legends Take 6 and renowned saxophonist Kirk Whalum!
All the songs on Vlada’s impressive debut album ‘All About You’ (release date: October 2009) are original compositions – a powerful and highly unique blend of soul, funk, pop and gospel. The sessions with the US all-star band took place in Switzerland in 2003, while the musicians had a couple days off their busy schedule. Vlada remembers, "I had the chance to work with some phenomenal players, some of the best on the planet and to see their work ethic, attitude and their servanthood and humility was quite amazing. We recorded 13 tracks live in the studio within two days, with a maximum of three takes, and I sang live with the band as well." It’s therefore not surprising that Vlada’s debut is reminiscent of Motown and the classic soul/funk records of the 1970s. Further sessions followed in Nashville, after Mark Kibble, the lead singer, producer and arranger of Take 6, suggested to Vlada that he co-produce and finish the album in Tennessee.
Multi-cultural Vlada has the potential to make music that will reach the whole world. Raised in Switzerland to a Serbian family, he later lived in England, Germany and is currently based in Nashville. Vlada speaks five languages fluently, reinforcing the international and wide appeal of the ‘Vlada sound.’ With over 20 years’ stage experience and hundreds of performances as a lead singer with various projects in Europe as well as the United States, Vlada is ready to embark on a highly promising solo career. Mike Rimmer (CrossRhythms Radio/BBC, Birmingham UK)

Ashlee Hewitt | 6:00 PM
Coming off her spectacular performances as a contestant on Nashville Star Season 6, Ashlee Hewitt continues to win over friends and fans thoughout the country.
Ashlee, a native of Lancaster, Minnesota and now full time resident of Nashville, wowed us with her performance of her original song, "Mike Hard Lemonade", showing that she had the skills to not only perform the hits, she could write them as well.
As a songwriter, Ashlee had two songs cut by Katie Armiger on her debut cd - both of which became singles. Katie's newest cd, "Believe", features two more Ashlee co-writes, "Movin' On" and "Wash Away". Ashlee also expanded her talents into production, moving to the other side of the control booth by producing the song "Bleed" on Katie's new cd.
Before being on Nashville Star, Ashlee performed over 100 shows a year for 6 years without a break. Since being on Nashville Star, Ashlee has continued her heavy tour schedule, performing shows throughout the country.
Paul King of NashvilleHype. com says, "What I love about Ashlee is, in a world where artist try to mimic what's 'hot at the moment' vocally, Ashlee is her own person, with her own unique vocal style and ability. She's learned through hard work and tenacity what works best for her in her career and she's having great successs as a result. Many young artist come to Nashville with the hope of one day being a star. Ashlee Hewitt came to Nashville already a star."

Devin Williams | 6:00 PM
Flying upon more than just the wings of the wind (Psalms 18:10), Devin Williams resonates with youth ministries and reinvents praise and worship with his latest record release “Pour It Out.” The synergy of his rocking sound alongside his conviction for reaching new audiences with the gospel has produced an album that hits home beyond the Christian genre. “The freedom of feeling sound all around you is what enables writers like myself to belt out every hurt and care while continuing to push the envelope on finding new avenues to deliver the message of Christ,” says Devin. “I have an undeniable passion for music and an even stronger passion for helping people know Jesus.” Many may recognize the powerful vocals and pulse pounding sound from his first release "Where Do I Begin" with the group Mouthpiece. While the same messages are still in tact, this solo release transitions beyond the aggressive and frustrated themes examined throughout the previous album. The roots of “Pour It Out” are firmly founded on the ideas of allowing God to penetrate and lead your existence while accepting that through all doubts one can find truth. “As a people we have a fear of relinquishing control,” says Devin. “I hope that my music allows audiences to get past that fear and realize that it’s not about giving up an ability to make decisions, it’s about trusting a spiritual design that’s bigger than any individual piece.” The dreams of this quickly surfacing contemporary Christian artist are capturing the industry’s attention and allowing him to take the stage alongside some of its leaders including Jeff Deyo (former member of SonicFlood). “His voice is amazing, his talent is very evident and his heart and commitment to seeing God work through him is steadfast and contagious,” says Deyo. Mac Powell of Third Day also states that he is not only impressed by his music, but by his desire to spread the message of God’s love and grace. “You won’t be disappointed! I believe God has something special for this guy,” says Powell. “Pour It Out,” certainly captures the heart of Christian faith in a contemporary package, especially connecting with younger audiences. With faith being such an intense and emotional subject, it is safe to proclaim with great confidence that Devin has found the perfect bridge with his rockin’ praise and worship project.
