Walk The West w/ Lark Watts & Subterraneans
At the height of their career, the popularity of Nashville's Walk The West rivaled that of EMI labelmates Jason & the Scorchers on the Southeast circuit. Walk The West was formed in 1984 by guitarist/vocalist Paul Kirby, the son of songwriter Dave Kirby (writer of "Is Anybody Goin' To San Antone"), childhood friends John Golemon and Will Golemon and drummer Richard Ice. The band's rise in popularity echoed that of other similar mid-80s Nashville artists like Will Rambeaux and the Delta Hurricanes, leading to a deal with EMI America which resulted in the band's lone, self-titled album in 1986, produced by Jozef Nuyens.

The Sword w/ TORCHE & Stinking Lizaveta
Before forging the blade, the swordsmiths underwent fasting and ritual purification. They then worked at their anvils in white clothes, like the robes of the priests. Their efforts were well rewarded. The final result was a blade of unparalleled craftsmanship. Its edge is made of metal so hard that it holds a razor sharpness even after repeated use in battle.

Roger Creager with Matt Jenkins
Soaring toward the top of the Texas Music Scene, award winner Roger Creager has exhibited the perserverance and stick-with-it quality that is necessary when blazing one's own trail in country music.
By the time he was six years old Creager had set his heart on creating country music. Young Creager would sing at the top of his lungs when by himself, and was often found acting like a conductor throughout his school years. He began his formal musical training while in second grade, playing the piano, and picked up the guitar during high school. During his teens he continued singing, mostly to himself due to shyness, and played with songwriting but didn't share his efforts with others.

Ghostfinger w/ David Vandervelde
Ghostfinger's Richie Kirkpatrick can't decide whether he wants to be Mick making like Gram, Alice mugging like Iggy, or Dulli aping Prince. But that's a plus where his avidly referential trio's malange of twang, pop-metal, and DMSR is concerned. As advertised by the title of their 2005 debut, These Colors Run, the 'Finger refuse to settle on one tone over another or in Kirkpatrick's case, to settle down; the manic, mustachioed ringleader is all over the place and everywhere at once.

Philos, Homer Hiccolm and the Rocketboys and Merced
Philos is an all encompassing entertainment spectacle. To say that Philos is merely a band wouldn't really do them any justice. Nor would it do them any good. Philos is five guys. That's one more than the Beatles, which means they have the ability to rock one harder. It's simple geometry.

Sea Wolf w/ The Jealous Girlfriends
When you consider the restless urgency in Alex Brown Church’s songwriting, it’s easy to connect the sentiment of Wolf Larsen, the villainous, ingenious swashbuckler at the helm of Jack London’s 1904 The Sea-Wolf, with the music that borrows the novel’s name.
The fact Sea Wolf is vehicle for Church’s songs – who is not only Sea Wolf’s songwriter and singer but also the band’s only invariable member – is a story that similarly begins against a Californian backdrop. Born in the small gold rush town of Columbia, Calif., Church’s musical memories were shaped by ad hoc bluegrass outfits playing for tourists on sidewalks of his hometown and platters of Beatles and Willie Nelson on his mom’s turntable.

HM Concerts Presents MC Chris
I don't take myself very seriously, so any rap that's very serious. Any rap that's like, "I'm as serious as a heart attack." I'm more about making people laugh. I mean, it's a pretty depressing day in age and I'm just into being an entertainer, trying to cheer people up. There are no specific names that I dislike. I think that the people who are rapping right now are geniuses, because they're releasing the same song five times and it's all over the radio and you can't escape it. Somebody's making money. When you're making music, you're doing one of two things - you're either having fun or you're trying to survive. I try to combine the two. Luckily I can have as much fun as I want and still make a pretty decent living at it. There's nobody that I really think is disgusting. I love pop, I love pop-punk, I love all kinds of music. If anything, I don't like people who are so serious.
