Jordan Hallquist is a singer/songwriter and rock artist hailing from Chattanooga, TN. He began singing at the age of 3 and picked up his first instrument at 10. He hasn’t stopped since. With the strong support of his parents and sincere faith guiding his life choices, his musical experience has been ever-widening. A tuned ear may hear influences of Neil Young, Ryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen or Bo Diddley, to mention a few. His protean style of entertaining encompasses the musical panorama, including americana, blues, rockabilly and classic rock. Jordan is just as comfortable performing an acoustic set in cozy tavern as he is piloting his band "Jordan Hallquist & The Outfit" while performing originals and selected covers for an exuberant crowd of dancing college students to delivering a professional and spot-on performance as the opening act for nationally known performers and bands.
Jordan's 4th studio album "Broad St. Devil" is due to release August 17th with his full band "Jordan Hallquist & The Outfit" and it is sure to capture the intensity and energy that are a central focus of their shows.
Along with being one of the Southeast's up and coming singer/songwriters Jordan has a cover list towering over 250 songs that touches on classic rock, top 40, pop/country, classic country, 50's ballads, 80's rock, 90's rock, r&b, rarities, current chart toppers and many more. Thus allowing him to frequent private corporate events, tribute shows, college events and various other "cover" gigs. Performing these gigs as a solo artist or with his band under the name "Jordan Hallquist & The Outfit" he brings an energy and excitement expected at both his original music shows and cover shows.
Now averaging close to 200 shows per year, Jordan is playing consistently on the road and in his hometown. Along the way he has been able to share the stage with such artists as Angie Aparo(wrote the #1 Single "Cry" performed by Faith Hill), Erick Baker(toured with Heart and the Goo Goo Dolls), Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, Channing Wilson, The Features, Grayson Capps and many many more songwriters and artists.
