TIMES FREE PRESS FYI AWARDS SHOW | 7:00 PM

FYIWeekend wants to celebrate and pay tribute to the many talented musicians and entertainers in our area, and we're going to do it with an awards ceremony and music showcase. The big event will be at Rhythm & Brews on Nov. 13, 2009. That's a Friday, but for more than two dozen artists, the 13th will be far from unlucky.

The event is called the FYI Music Awards. And the best part? You get to nominate your favorites for consideration over the next several weeks.

Once the dust clears and we've sorted through your votes to find the winners, the evening will include live performances, presentations of custom-designed trophies and special guests.
