Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars are comprised of musicians who lived for years as refugees in the West African nation of Guinea. Before having to flee their country, all of the members of the band lived in or around Sierra Leone's capital city, Freetown. Throughout the 1990s, Freetown had remained relatively safe from the rebel war that had turned much of the country into a bloody battlefield. Then in 1999 rebels attacked the city and forced a panicked mass exodus to neighboring countries.

The American South has a long history of serving as a fertile breeding ground for singer/songwriters who instinctively meld the various musical elements of their environs. Alabama native Adam Hood carries on that tradition. Like a really good gumbo, there are a lot of subtle flavors mixing together in his personal brand of Southern music – blues, folk, country, rock – all wrapped around lyrics that sound too insightful for someone his age.

Sean McConnell has been performing on stage ever since he can remember. He was born into a family of full-time musicians, which inspired Sean to travel down the musical road. Growing up in the coffee houses of the Boston folk scene, Sean watched his parents playing songs written by Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen, David Wilcox, Shawn Colvin, Harry Chapin, CSNY, James Taylor and others of the like. Unknown to himself or his parents, Sean was soaking it all in and locking it away somewhere inside.

An apprentice of country legend Lamar Morris of The Alabama Band, Roberts' musical roots stretch deep into country soil. But his sound explores larger terrain.

As we all know ‘Things happens for a reason" and people cross paths for the better. Mindtrip is an exact product of that simple scenario. 5 hardworking, regular guys from different areas of music managed to find each other and cross musical paths. Since the inception of MT in late 2001, many things have grown and changed not only in the band but in the music world that surrounds this group. Many preach “Rock-n-Roll is Dead” and “Live music is a lost Art”. Mindtrip doesn't adhere to this way of thinking and does more than it’s fair share of “Keeping that Original Rock Flame alive and burning”.

Southern Fried Funk is a Union county based band that started with Dan as lead vocalist and guitar, Andrew on lead/rhythm guitar, and Alex on drums. Then Julian joined the band on bass, and before our first performance, the name Southern Fried Funk was born. Our new album, "No Time to Compromise" is coming out very soon, and the three songs currently posted are from it.

Selling Mary began in January of 2000 originally in the backwoods of Bugtussle, Alabama in the basement of a church. Three upstanding young gentlemen, Adam Callaway, Todd Willoughby and Peter Tubbs, decided to form a band after meeting years before at a local marching band clinic. The group began paying their dues and quickly established a small but loyal following.
