When you add and update events in TicketBiscuit, your events can be automatically posted to Facebook.com. Facebook has over 500 million active users. We’ve made it easy for you to capture the eyes of these subscribers and drive them to your website to buy tickets.
To connect TicketBiscuit to your Facebook Account, follow these steps:
First, create a Facebook User PROFILE if you don’t already have one.
Just go to Facebook.com and fill out the information to sign up. Use your personal information here. This is a key point- USER PROFILES or ACCOUNTS are typically user-centric and personal, meant to be managed by only one person; PAGES are designed for businesses or GROUPS, and may have several ADMINS. You have to have a PROFILE before you can create a PAGE, however, so do that first.
Next, you’ll want to create a Facebook PAGE for your business.
Simply go to facebook.com/pages and click the create page button. You want to create an OFFFICIAL PAGE for your business, and for the Page Name, you want this to be as close to your real business name as possible.
You’ll want to complete as much of the information on your fan page as possible. Upload pictures, post your hours, link to your website, and so on. You can do this at a later time, or when you initially set up the page.
Finally, make sure that the USER PROFILE account is set up as an admin on the OFFICIAL PAGE you created. You can verify this by Clicking “Settings” > “Page Roles”.
While you’re looking at this page, look up at the address bar of your browser. Find a string of numbers following the characters id=. This is your FACEBOOK PAGE ID. Write it down.
