Access the Page
Use the Events drop down menu and select the Create Attraction option.
This sends you to a page where you will create an attraction by entering information on the attraction (performer, performance, etc.).
First, enter a title for the attraction in the Title text field. This is what customers will see when they look at the attraction on your website. The attraction title is also how you will search for an attraction at a later date.
Next, enter a web address in the Link text field. Customers will use this link to access the home page for an attraction, such as a comedian’s homepage, where they can access more information on the performer/performance.
Finally, enter a Long description for the attraction. This is a great place to put a review/summary of the attraction.
Also, you can leave the descriptions blank if you would like. However, it may be helpful to your customers to have as much information available as possible on your own website. Once you have this information entered into the appropriate text fields, click the Apply button on the bottom of the page.
Once you apply the information you will be able to edit the images for the attraction.
When the information has been applied to the attraction page you will have the option to add images to the Attraction.
Click the Edit Images link. This will take you to a page where you will be able to upload images from your computer, or use images already in your TicketBiscuit account.
If you would like an event that has already been uploaded to your TicketBiscuit account use the Select an Image drop down menu to find an image; click Add to apply this image to the attraction you are creating.
To upload an image from your computer use the two fields below the Select an Image area.
Click the Choose File button to search the files on your computer for an image to upload. Select the image you would like to use, and then, give the image a title (This is so you can access the image at a later date). Then, click Upload to add the image to the event.
Once you have selected the image(s) you would like to add to this attraction, you will have the option to add a caption to each image.
When you are satisfied with your images, click the Ok button. This will direct you back to the Create Attraction page. Click on the Save and Return button to save your work, you will be directed to the Search Events page.
To add video and/or sound to an attraction, click on the Edit A/V Media link at the bottom of the Attraction Details page.
This link will take you to a page where you can add links to media (i.e. YouTube videos) to your page. Adding media to an attraction is similar to adding images.
To add new media to the attraction, enter a URL for the media. It is best to copy and paste this information to avoid errors. To use media already added to attractions, use the Select drop down and chose a piece of media to apply to the attraction. All pieces of media must have a title to be added to the attraction. Once the media is selected and given a title, click the “Add” button. You will now be able to add another piece of media to the attraction or remove any media you decide you would not like applied to the attraction.
Save the Attraction
When you are satisfied with the media and images you have added, click the Ok button. This will direct you back to the Create Attraction page. Click on the Save and Return button to save your work, you will be directed to the Search Events page.
This attraction can now be applied to events and will allow your customers to see the images and media you have added while they shop for tickets online.
The attraction will be saved in your account and can be used immediately or at any future date.
